i agree with all of you, if we were to make it obvious then anon would lose its greatest advantage. STAYING ANONYMOUS. if it was more suttle it just might make a bit more since. like if a persons watch or phone went off at a certin time, and they did a sertin action ( ex: scratching your leg at 12 pm) then another anon could see and possibly give them like a buissness card or even just a hand shake with no info. its so suttle that no one would notice. compared to acting like a fool.

There are attributes of this operation that I really like, and other attributes that seem counter-intuitive to the movement of Anonymous. The most pertinent proponent of Project Mayhem (that I see, and these are just my thoughts as an observer) is this ideal of a reality hacking. Anons work together to hack a website that represents corruption, oppression, hypocrisy, or whatever negative connotative word you would like to use to describe the target. When they hack the website, it is infiltrated and exposed, or merely shut down in order to make the point, in which the point can vary due to the multi-faceted philosophy that is anonymous. When there are inferences to move from virtual hacking to reality hacking, what could stem from this could be infinitesimal as we literally open up another world to the Anonymous movement. This is different than the protest of the Occupiers, or protestors in Guy Fawkes masks at a media event, or Anon marches, or stopping purchases of targeted products, nor am I trying to diminish the value of this support, or this expression, these forms are extremely valuable to the cause and need to continue. However this realityhacking can be read from acts similar Anons storming the Spanish Goya awards show and interrupting airtime, this was a physical interruption for reality, the matrix, shadows on the wall, however you want to name it, or just was a pain in the ass for the puppeteers. What can be taken from this is a new direction of Anonymous, the realityhacking is a seed for many new forms of operations.
The notion of being an Anonymous rat is annoying however, I do understand how rats spread the bubonic plague, and the OP is trying to spread a mind virus, one that awakens the receptors, though this carries negative feelings. A mind virus that brings us to the hive mind, a collective thought process where we work together has its ups and downs. Many people working towards the same goal as a collective is a positive idea, however the five cores of Anonymous fight against the shadow puppeteering that our governments use to make us "like minded". I personally would not want to be considered a rat that infects others. The ultimate goal is to be a person in an egalitarian society that awakens others.
Finding other peoples that SHARE the same thoughts as I do is always a sought after endeavor, and having a private way of discovering these people in the field of reality would only expedite the process, as lurking forums is not always the most efficient. But acting "surreal" at 11:11 is the most efficient way to NOT be anonymous. If the OP would revise this operation, it could be successful.

It is time to look in the mirror and know who you are. You are part of us and we are part of you. Standing up for world freedom takes many different forms of non violent actions. Every Anonymous supporter has an equal value to our cause and we all can help in our own way. We all need to commit to our own level of involvement.
Every type of involvement has its own level of risk and reward. For some of the general supporters making a “public” display via 11:11 alarm and/or random act will show great strength for our cause, unite new brothers and sisters, and possibly open the eyes of those who don’t already know. Yes there is risk on many levels that I hope are clear and understood to all considering this type of support.
Here are two Examples I have written in hopes of explaining my thoughts.
Example 1
If I had no idea how to use a computer beyond using MS Word, watching You Tube, and surfing the web it would be best to focus my efforts more on the streets to spread the word. I could stick Anon stickers where they belong, talk with trusted friends and family about the world’s (everyone’s) problems, and support local protests just to name a few actions. My efforts are valuable to the world and I may not even own a computer. Since there isn’t any computer code trail leading from the WWW to my door I am free to yell in the streets.
Example 2
Maybe I could be a computer wiz that makes David Lightman and WOPR look like a broken am radio. With computer superpowers my time would be best spent hitting the keys and not the pavement. It would be dangerous to act in a public manner that brought attention to my actions. If I had this type of skill I would be teaching students and like minded people what I know. I would also use the computer for computing type stuff on the web to help freedom spread around the world.
One is not better than the next only different. Knowing the difference and your exposure is very important. It could be the difference between a trip to Cuba or positive world change. It is time to look in the mirror and know who you are. Standing up for world freedom takes many different forms of non violent actions.
Since my computer skills max out at ms word and Google and health issues make it too dangerous for me to protest in public (thanks violent police for taking that away) all I have is my voice and all you have is my support.

Uh, guys...I think this message is satire, a joke. Note it says, "Rats"? What's a "rat"? One who informs on his fellows to the authorities. I think the sender meant it to be directed at infiltrators and informers. Should they be stupid enough to take the bait, any "real" Anon's would be able to identify them and possibly dox them.

11:11 also has meaning with the date 12/21/2012. At 11:11 am there are planetary alignments that only happen every 26,000 (?) years.

Spreading Love is mayhem, IF indeed the answer is simple, Love defeats fear. Fear is what TPTB have fed us for so long, so buck the system, spread a little love.
