It's trivial to start working on this boycott.
Simple boycott any entity that does not respect your freedoms.
That means boycotting your government - refuse to show ID, refuse to vote, refuse to take part in government-enforced activities.
That means boycotting corporations - don't buy from large corporations whenever you can, but buy from individuals instead, or even better, do not buy anything at all. You don't _need_ a new phone every year if your old phone is still working fine. Investigate buying things directly from China/Hong Kong through sites like DealExtreme and BuyInCoins to cut out a large middle-man corporation and get things almost directly from the supplier. Hell, have a go at learning how to make things yourself.
That means boycotting anyone and anything that infringes on your personal freedoms, whether it is one of the above or not, and whether it's even in this list at all or not.
Learn who does what, who is responsible for what, and think about how YOU can do something about it.
For learning material; use the internet! Want to know what corporations do? Google them, ask around on Anonymous-related IRC channels, follow the *real* news sources rather than just mainstream media (Twitter is a good place to start), and check every news story against multiple sources to verify whether it's true.
Want to know how to do things yourself? Have a look at any of the free educational resources on the internet, such as http://www.cd3wd.com/cd3wd_40/cd3wd/index.htm , http://www.khanacademy.org/ , http://www.youtube.com/mit , and smaller resources like http://www.simondale.net/house/ .
Most importantly, spread the word and spread the video!

In an ironic twist, the largest corporations in the world are the telecom carriers who transport all Internet traffic. No telecoms, no Internet. Tough one to boycott. It's OK though, if the Internet disappears I still remember how to read books.

Ha, nice idea but not reasonable as an Internet where one could find information in a sane manner (or across distances without property right-of-way or over oceans.) Cool thinking though. I suppose we could all shirk off the electrical power monopolies and use only solar too? Survivalist technologists? :)

the best thing to do is not vote on anything could u see the day the the news come one and she says only 200,000 people voted for the prez or whatever that would be the day that the war horn signal and everyone would no that well someone has there back and there not alone if if the herd see that only 500 rebell and millions still conform. more r likely to conform but if ppl dont vote it would be a completly anonymous voting desision by they people to take back what is everyones

Boycotting the government's going to be a bit of a hard sell, depending on where you look at it from. Refusing to pay taxes can get you arrested easily, and you'll have to pay anyway with interest (just look at the poor sods who win lotteries or even that one dude who won the first or second Survivor and forget to pay on those). Refusing to vote means that every screwball like Santorum is that much more likely to actually get the election, putting us even deeper in the hole. With at least the government, as citizens, we need to be MORE involved with it, not less. Refusal to participate in that front just makes the voices of morons, sell-outs and elitist rich fucks louder.

If we can kill what keeps the ACTA supporters alive, they will buckle their knees sooner or later.
United as one, divided by zero!
