Looks like Anonymous is becoming another bogeyman for the Government to exploit for their agendas.
Besides, Anonymous needs electricity to power telecommunications in order to function, and cutting power essentially neutralizes Anonymous temporarily. So if anything, the government would have greater interest in controlling civilian infrastructure and shutting it down in an event that "threatens national security"... like a revolution perhaps.
I mean really, the propaganda is getting laughably pathetic these days. It's like they're not even trying to sell it convincingly any more, and just saying whatever in hope enough idiots believe it.
